Hello, i get error "failed to open connection to PLC". I have M200 and ET6400. Any idea how to resolve it?
If you are connecting plc TM200 series with laptop through ecostruxure software, then note following points- 1) In communication tab, remember to click or select usb port. Usb port option will be available only after you connect usb cable Between laptop and plc 2) re-connect plc cable and ensure usb port is selected.

File which is currently open in excel application is been written. So we are mentioning on sheet number. If excel application is not open then it will not be written

IF YOU TURN THE POT TO LOW RESISTANCE POINT, IT WILL BE LIKE SHORTING THE 24V, HIGH CURRENT CAN DAMAGE THE MULTIMETER OR THE FUSE WILL BLOW, EITHER INSIDE METER OR THE POWER SORCE
Correct! though most trimming pots have limits set so they don't venture to that minimum resistance if so it will be open cirucit and show a fault on the control loop either on your DCS or control panel. Usually it will indicate fault that the valve has overtravelled or something along those lines
